Each cloth quiet book is lovingly handmade from blankets, sweaters, fleece jackets, my old clothes from Anthropologie that I fit into when I weighted 120 pounds, and other clothing scraps. I use stuff like curtains and buttons that I cut off of clothing. When I do crafts, I hate throwing anything out, so I use the scraps from one project and incorporate them into the next. This makes these fabric activity books eco-friendly as well as fun.
These quiet books are one of a kind. Because I'm not sure what fabric I'll be able to work with, I don't make patterns. Each page is a work of art that not only keeps your child occupied, but it provides a learning opportunity as well as a chance to develop fine motor skills.
Below are some pages from the cloth quiet books I've created:
If you would like to buy a cloth quiet book, please contact me at gaby{at}Tmuffin{dot}com. I can create a customized busy book just for you. The price depends on the number of pages.

These are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE. How long does it take you to make one of these? Do you hand sew or machine? Do you use the same fabric for the base of the pages? Oh so many questions. I just think these are fabulouso!
Terri- Thanks! It takes me about an hour or two to make each page. (One side). I both machine and hand sew. It just depends what the material is and what I'm sewing. I usually do use the same material for the base of the pages to make it cohesive. It's a 100% cotton, unbleached, natural fabric. But I sometimes add other fabric as a background to add texture and pattern.
If you like it, I hope you vote for me! :)
Oh Wow, that is so stinkin' cute!!! I love how it turned out!
