Wordless Wednesday: Riding Out Hurricane Irene

When there are 13 family members trapped in a house during a hurricane, this is what happens:
First, you're a little bored...

and in disbelief.

You get a little silly
and put baskets on your head.

Some people sleep.

New friends are made.

And when it all gets to be too much, you go out in the hurricane.

Even some of the babies got in on the action.

But Little M wasn't quite sure about the wind and rain.

Hi Gaby!

Thanks for dropping by my humble blog earlier! We have been trying to deter Ben from picking his nose but oh well, the more you try to do it, the more eager he wants to do it!

I hope everything is alright at your side by now! Stay safe and take care!

Haha! We can so identify with this post! Sunday felt like the longest day ever as we took cover in our downstairs room!

You certainly captured the many emotions that go along with waiting out a storm! It seems you must have fared alright, if you're back to blogging? I hope so!

Wow, that would be cabin fever for sure. Glad you all stayed safe!

Yep, I can relate too! My kids ended up playing on our porch for a while getting soaking wet! The most fun they had all day. I ate. A lot.
